The Story Behind Dandewell

Today I wanted to share a little about why I became a dietitian.

 For as long as I can remember, weight and dieting were a constant part of my life. Becoming a dietitian seemed like a natural choice when I went to college. I've heard it all: fat-free diets, sugar-free diets, low-calorie diets, exercise plans, step count goals, and everything in between. I've studied them, tried many of them, and hoped each one would finally be the answer.

 At the same time, I was working at a dialysis center and watching people struggle with their health every day. Despite medications and treatments, many of the people I worked with weren't getting better. I knew there had to be more to the story than simply managing symptoms.

 I wanted something different-not another diet, but an approach that addressed the root causes of health concerns and created lasting change. 

 That's why I started Dandewell.

 I wanted to help people who feel like they've tried everything but still aren't seeing the results they're hoping for. In my experience, most people aren't failing because they lack motivation. They're struggling because they've been given conflicting advice and no clear path that fits their real life.

 You don't have to overhaul your entire life to improve your health.
